Right across South Tyrol

From Hotel Seeber you start out heading towards Vitipeno/Sterzing and follow the Giovo/Jaufen road and signposts towards the Passo di Monte Giovo/Jaufenpass which is just under 19 km away from Racines/Ratschings. As soon as you have crossed the pass keep to the left and you will soon reach St. Leonhard in the beautiful Val Passiria/Passeiertal valley. The Mediterranean spa town of Merano/Meran, which is famous beyond its national borders, is approx. just 20 km away from here.
Why not take a break and enjoy South Tyrolean specialities or visit the stunning botanical gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.
The way back either leads along the same route to Racines/Ratschings or you can carry on via Bolzano/Bozen through the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal valley and the Wipp Valley to Vitipeno/Sterzing and Racines/Ratschings.

This motorbike tour leads you towards Vitipeno/Sterzing until Campo di Tréns/Freienfeld, where you turn off onto the SS508 and ride over the Penser Joch straight into South Tyrol's Val Sarentina/Sarntal valley north of the regional capital Bolzano/Bozen. There are several options available for the rest of the ride: You can go back the same way or you can let your motorbike tour take you over Comune del Renón/Ritten into the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal valley and then via Bressanone/Brixen to Vitipeno/Sterzing. The third option is to return via Bolzano/Bozen and over the Valle Isarco/Eisacktal valley to Vitipeno/Sterzing and Racines/Ratschings.

Your motorbike tour starts in front of our hotel and you ride towards Vitipeno/Sterzing, the Giovo/Jaufen road and then following the signs towards the Passo di Monte Giovo/Jaufenpass. Once you have crossed the pass you reach St. Leonhard in the Val Passiria/Passeiertal valley. Here you keep to the right and carry on towards Passo del Rombo/Timmelsjoch, which takes you to Austria. Head to the Ötztal valley via Sölden and Längenfeld, where you soon carry on up the Inn Valley motorway (toll motorway) towards Innsbruck. From here the motorbike tour takes you back to Italy again and over the Brennero/Brenner pass then to Vitipeno/Sterzing and finally back to Racines/Ratschings.

It is best to plan your motorbike tour a few days beforehand and combine the ride over the alpine passes with a visit to a few selected sights in the towns and villages that you ride through.
